Terms of use
Last updated 27 October 2026. Evershow is in beta, so these terms may change; we will say so on this page.
1. Who we are
Evershow (“we”, “us”) is run by Joys Ltd, a company registered in Guernsey, registered office Le Foulon Road, St. Peter Port, Guernsey GY1 1YR. You can reach us at [email protected].
Evershow lets you build a rotating display of images, such as sponsor logos, team members, auction items or award winners, preview it in your browser, and have us render it as a video (the “service”). By using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a link sent to your email address, or with an access token we give you. Keep your sign-in links and tokens private; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- You must be 18 or over, or be using the service for an organisation that has authorised you to.
- Give us a working email address. We may use it to send you sign-in links and notices about the service, but not marketing unless you ask for it.
3. Your content
- “Your content” means everything you upload or create: logos, photos, PDFs, overlays, designs and the videos we render for you.
- Your content stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and display it back to you for the purpose of providing the service, and nothing else. We do not use your content to advertise, and we do not sell it.
- You are responsible for your content. You promise that you own it or have permission to use it for this purpose, including any rights of the people who appear in it (for example players, drivers, award winners and event guests), and any trade marks or copyright in logos and images. If you are unsure, ask the owner first.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else’s rights, or anything that contains malware.
- We may remove content, or suspend an account, if we reasonably think these rules are broken or we receive a valid complaint. We will tell you why where we can.
4. Previews, test renders and final renders
- Preview. The preview you see while designing is drawn by your own browser. It is limited in size and always carries the Evershow watermark.
- Test renders. A “quick test” is a small video (640 pixels on its longest side, 30 frames per second, standard quality) that always carries the Evershow watermark. Each account gets 10 free test renders in any rolling 24 hours. After that, a test costs credits like any other render.
- Final renders. A final render is the full-size, watermark-free video you choose the settings for. It costs credits, shown to you before you start.
- If a render fails because of a fault on our side, we refund the credits it used (and a failed test does not count against your free allowance). Rendering takes time and renders are done one after another, so you may have to wait in a queue; we give no guaranteed time.
- Download your videos promptly. We keep finished videos for 7 days and then delete them. Your saved designs stay in your account until you delete them.
5. Credits and payment
- Credits pay for final renders and for test renders beyond the free allowance. The price and the number of credits a render needs are shown before you start.
- Credits do not expire while your account is active. [[Confirm or change this]]
- Payments, when they are switched on, will be taken by an external payment provider that we will name on this page; we never see or store your card details.
- Credits are not exchangeable for money. If you buy credits and have not used them, contact us: depending on where you live, you may have a right to cancel within a short period. Apart from refunds on failed renders and anything the law requires, credits are non-refundable.
- During the beta we may give credits to testers free of charge. They have no cash value and we may change or end that at any time.
6. Acceptable use
Do not try to bypass the watermark, the free-test limit or any other limit; copy or capture the service in order to produce watermark-free output without paying; interfere with the service or other people’s use of it; probe it for weaknesses without our written permission; or use it to break the law. We may block accounts that do. If you find a security problem, please tell us at [email protected].
7. Complaints about content
If you think something stored on Evershow infringes your rights, email [email protected] with what it is, why it is yours, and where it is. We will look at it promptly and may remove it while we do.
8. The service is a beta
Evershow is being tested. It may be slow, change, have faults, or be unavailable, and we may stop it or change its features and prices. We will try to give notice of major changes and to let you download your videos first. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a render will look the same on every device.
9. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
- Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, data or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if you paid nothing).
- You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your content and videos. We back up our systems but do not promise to keep your content.
- If you are a consumer, you also keep the legal rights you have where you live, which these terms do not take away.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Evershow at any time and ask us to delete your account (see our privacy notice). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or we stop the service. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as those about your content, liability and the governing law) do.
11. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and if a change is important we will tell signed-in users. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of Guernsey and the courts of Guernsey have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer in another country you keep any rights you have where you live. Questions: [email protected].
